PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter body having an inexpensive constitution, and excellent in maintainability and durability. SOLUTION: Resin parts 14 are provided at the bottom parts on the dust catching side of a filter medium 13b formed by being bent in a pleat shape, and groove parts 14a are formed at the resin parts 14 along the longitudinal direction of pleats. When removing dust caught by the filter body 13 using a rod-like body with a sharp front end (not shown in the figure), since the front end of the rod-like body can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the pleats while the front end is dropped in the groove part 14a, the damage of the filter body 13 due to the failure, such as scratching the part of the filter medium 13b or opening a hole erroneously by the front end of the rod-like body, is prevented.
