POLYMER-BASED SOLAR CELL

Methods are described for enlarging the surface of a polymer-based solar cell relative to a smooth surface, and/or for enlarging the active surface of the organic semiconductor layer of the solar cell relative to a smooth surface. A polymer-based solar cell (1) is further described, in which the active surface of the organic semiconductor layer (13) has a surface profile which enlarges the surface in relation to a smooth surface profile. The surface has elevations and/or indentations.
