HEAT-SENSITIVE PRINTING LAYER AND OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM

Disclosed is a heat-sensitive printing layer suitable for thermal printing using a thermal head. Also disclosed is a heat-sensitive printing layer which does not limit the material from which it is made. Specifically disclosed is a heat-sensitive printing layer which is thermally printable by using a thermal head. This heat-sensitive printing layer is characterized by comprising a color coupler layer containing a heat-sensitive color coupling material and a curable resin, and a developer layer containing a developer and a curable resin. Also specifically disclosed is an optical recording medium characterized by comprising such a heat-sensitive printing layer and a recording/reproducing function layer.
