<p>The collecting portion structure of an exhaust manifold (A) comprises a plurality of branch pipes (2-5) connected with a head flange (1), a collecting portion (6) for collecting and containing the exhaust gas downstream side end portions (2a-5a) of respective branch pipes (2-5), a partition panel (10) arranged under such a state that the exhaust gas downstream side end portion (10a) is projecting into the collecting portion (6), and a sensor fixing boss portion (9) secured to a portion of the outer circumference of the collecting portion (6) by welding (X7) while facing a fixing hole (6f) formed in the collecting portion (6). Insertion holes (6g, 6h) are formed through the reduced diameter portion (6e) at the collecting portion (6) of the exhaust manifold (A) and under a state where the portions (10c, 10d) at the opposite ends of the partition panel (10) are inserted into the insertion holes (6g, 6h) and positioned, the exhaust manifold (A) is secured by welding (X5) to the outer circumference of the collecting portion (6).</p> |
