A lithium ion secondary battery, and an activated carbon fiber used in a capacitor electrode material are provided to lower the manufacturing cost of a capacitor and to improve the capacity of a capacitor. A lithium ion secondary battery comprises lithium oxide as a positive electrode active material; activated carbon fiber as a negative electrode active material; and liquid organic electrolyte as an electrolyte, wherein the activated carbon fiber has a hole of 1-10 Angstrom and is prepared by pulverizing a source material, evaporating water at 120-150 deg.C, extracting bamboo salt at 350 deg.C, carbonizing it at 400-480 deg.C, maintaining it at 400-480 deg.C for a certain time to convert into a highly pure carbide, pulverizing the carbonized material, forming holes on the carbide; cooling it at 1,000 deg.C or less, and extracting it at a temperature of 100 deg.C or less. |
