<p>A method of forming a cube-on-face texture with very high strength on a surface of a metal sheet made from Fe or Fe-based alloy efficiently within a short time is provided, a method of manufacturing non-oriented electrical steel sheets excellent in physical properties such as magnetic properties using the method is provided, and non-oriented electrical steel sheets that are manufactured by the methods and have a cube-on-face texture with very high strength are provided. A method of forming a cube-on-face texture on a surface of a metal sheet comprises: a heat treatment step of heat-treating the metal sheet at a temperature at which an austenite phase of the metal sheet is stable while reducing oxygen in at least one of an internal region and a surface region of the metal sheet made from Fe or Fe-based alloy or blocking the metal sheet from oxygen of the outside; and a step of transforming a phase of the heat-treated metal sheet into a ferrite phase. A method of manufacturing a non-oriented electrical steel sheet comprises: a step of forming a cube-on-face texture on a surface of a metal sheet, comprising a heat treatment step of heat-treating the metal sheet at a temperature at which an austenite phase of the metal sheet is stable while reducing oxygen in at least one region of an internal region and a surface region of the metal sheet made from Fe or Fe-based alloy or blocking the metal sheet from oxygen of the outside, and a phase transformation step of transforming a phase of the heat-treated metal sheet into a ferrite phase; and an internal growing step of internally growing the cube-on-face texture of the metal sheet.</p> |
