A display substrate and a display device including the display substrate are provided to superpose a contact part which electrically connects a signal line to a connecting line on the signal line to reduce a distance between neighboring signal lines and form a gate driver in a region on which a sealing member is formed to prevent the gate driver from corrosion by the sealing member so as to improve the driving reliability of the gate driver. A display substrate includes gate lines, a driving circuit(130), a signal line part(120), a connecting line part and a contact part. The gate lines are formed in a display region and intersect source lines. The driving circuit is formed in a peripheral region surrounding the display region and outputs a gate signal to the gate lines. The signal line part is formed in close proximity to the driving circuit and extended in a direction in which the source lines are extended to transmit driving signals. The connecting line part includes one end superposed on the signal line part and the other end electrically connected to the driving circuit. The contact part is formed on the signal line part and electrically connects the one end of the connecting line part to the signal line part.
