<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip resistor which can solve or restrain problems such as large variation in resistance depending on manners of soldering to electrodes. <P>SOLUTION: The chip resistor 1 made of a homogeneous metallic material comprises at least a pair of electrodes 3 separated each other prepared on one side of this resistor 1. The pair of electrodes 3 are separated from an end of the resistor in the direction they are arranged. The region between the pair of electrodes 3 and between each electrode 3 separated from the end of the resistor and the end of the resistor on the one side of the resistor 1 is covered with an insulating layer 4 and ends of each electrode 3 are overlapped on the insulating layer 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
