<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terrestrial digital television receiver capable of easily registering a channel list. <P>SOLUTION: The receiver includes a receiving circuit 10 for receiving terrestrial digital television broadcast, a data table at which channel data for selecting a channel of the terrestrial digital television broadcast for the receiving circuit 10 is registered, and a control circuit 30. The control circuit 30 receives first data for identifying the channel, second data for identifying a broadcast area, and third data for identifying a transport stream which are extracted from an information signal.
