PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light weight cellulose fiber reinforced molding capable of giving a thick molded product without causing molding defect, and to provide a method for efficiently producing the molding. SOLUTION: The production method comprises agitating the cellulose fibers tangling each other alone or with a powdery resin component in a solvent to form a slurry, removing the solvent by freeze-drying to obtain flocculate comprising cellulose fiber or flocculate comprising cellulose fiber containing the resin component, and molding under heating the former flocculate after impregnating with a resin component or the latter flocculate as it is. Preferably, at least a part of the cellulose fiber is microfibrilated by beating or mechanically disintegrating pulp. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
