PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve charging with high operation efficiency at low cost in an open-cut mining system including a plurality of electrically driven dump trucks loaded with a storage battery and a capacitor, and one shovel. SOLUTION: The shovel 2 is provided with a charger 12, and a charging terminal 13 thereof can be simply connected wherever the dump truck stops in the periphery of the shovel 2. During loading the dump truck 3 with sediment by the shovel 2, the charger 12 of the shovel 2 charges the storage battery 3a loaded on the dump truck 3 through the charging terminal 13. At the end of loading with the sediment and charging, the dump truck 3 conveys/discharges the sediment to a predetermined position, returns, and reaches in back of the aftermost dump truck 6. In the meantime, the next dump truck 4 performs loading of sediment and charging at the same time. Such repetition is continuously performed, whereby the time spent only for charging is eliminated in the respective dump trucks 3, 4, 5, 6, so that the operation efficiency of the open-cut mining system can be remarkably improved.
