PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device in which heat generated from LD of an optical pickup or the like can be radiated efficiently. SOLUTION: An air stream caused by rotation of the optical disk 100 attached to a spindle motor 5 by pierce-forming a plurality of second opening parts 4c and 4d rows arranged in a circular arc state at left and right both sides of a mechanical insertion hole 4e in which a mechanical unit 7 of a disk tray 4 is inserted is flowed to the optical pickup 6 side directly through opening parts 4c, 4d (arrow mark D2), and heat radiation and cooling of heating parts of the optical pickup 6 such as LD6a, 6b are performed.
