PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication destination specifying method for easily setting a communication destination when changing system configuration in a system comprising a plurality of computers. SOLUTION: The communication destination of each application can be set by function, segment, or the like with an interface logically specifying the communication destination such as the function or the segment, and a logical communication function corresponding to a plurality of communication destinations, thus achieving the logical specification of the communication destination. Consequently, there is no need to change a communication destination setting file unique to the application when adding a computer due to demand or the like, and it is only required to set each function and segment for a change in communication destination setting when changing a configuration in functional addition.
