PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-enlarging bucket capable of easily forming a base-enlarged portion of a pile even in the case of hard ground. SOLUTION: This base-enlarging bucket 1 is used for forming the base-enlarged portion 60b, the diameter of which becomes larger than that of a shaft portion 60a, in a portion serving as a base of the pile. The base-enlarging bucket 1 comprises a cylindrical main body portion 11, and a widening blade portion 12 which is openably formed so that the diameter of the main body portion 11 can be increased.
