The invention concerns a perfected catadioptric element (1, 100, 101) defining a catadioptric surface (2) and comprising three substantially plane reflecting surfaces (3, 4, 5) forming together a solid angle of approximately 90°. One of the reflecting surfaces (3, 4, 5) forms with the catadioptric surface (2) an angle B substantially equal to Formula (I) or to Formula (II) where A is the angle of incidence of maximum effectiveness of the light (I) incident on the catadioptric surface (2) for which the element (1, 100, 101) should have the maximum effectiveness. The invention also concerns a related catadioptric device and a related optical device.
