A musical instrument and a supporting system incorporated therein for music players are provided to enable a player to manipulate at least one manipulator with small force by adding auxiliary force. A musical instrument includes manipulators, sound generators, and supporting systems. The supporting system includes sensors, actuators(103), and controllers. The sensors are adhered to touch portions(23A) respectively and generate a signal indicating a moving amount of the manipulators. The actuators react to a driving force to apply auxiliary force to the manipulators. The controllers save relations of moving amounts of the manipulators and the size of driving force, and seek a predetermined size corresponding to the moving amounts.
