A broadband wavelength plate is provided to improve tolerance and weather resistance as reducing fabrication process and cost for the product. A broadband wavelength plate(1) has at least one transparent substrate(10) and a plurality of phase retardation layers stacked on the transparent substrate. At least one phase retardation layer(20) is formed with a liquid crystal layer. The phase retardation layer is formed as a pair of liquid crystal layers between a pair of transparent substrates. A bonding layer(30) is formed between the liquid crystal layers. A retardation film is intervened between the liquid crystal layers.
