<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidification method capable of lowering the dew point of dehumidified air by a simple method without increasing the dimension of a dehumidifying apparatus or significantly changing the operation condition of the dehumidifying apparatus, and to provide the dehumidifying apparatus for executing the dehumidification method. <P>SOLUTION: In the dehumidification method, the opening surface of a dehumidifying rotor comprising a carrier where an aeration cavity is formed in a rotary shaft direction and a dehumidifying agent supported by the carrier is divided into a dehumidification zone, a regeneration zone and a cooling zone, air to be treated is supplied to the dehumidification zone, a regeneration gas is supplied to the regeneration zone and a cooling gas is supplied to the cooling zone while rotating the dehumidification rotor, and the dehumidification of the air to be treated and the regeneration of the dehumidifying agent are performed continuously. A functional zone is provided between the regeneration zone and the cooling zone or between the cooling zone and the dehumidification zone or between the dehumidification zone and the regeneration zone, and a functional zone aeration gas is supplied to the functional zone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
