PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality and high-reliability plasma display panel capable of stably ensuring uniform evacuation and removal of impurities in the panel even though it has a simple structure. SOLUTION: A sealed space between a front substrate 11 and a back substrate 21 is surrounded by a rectangular frame-like sealing part 45. The sealed space is divided into an A-space and a B-space being two small sealed spaces isolated from each other by one division wall 35 formed in the sealed space. When it is assumed that the long side length of a barrier rib formation region 32 is L, the division wall 35 is formed to pass a position of L/2 of each long side in the barrier rib formation region 32. In the back substrate 21, two ventilation holes 38 and 39 are bored to make the A-space and the B-space of the panel 10 communicate with the outside of the panel 10.
