摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize, throughout the whole area of an application region, the thicknesses of a plurality of application layers formed by application of a liquid material to the application region, and respectively emitting light. SOLUTION: An organic EL device 10 is provided. The organic EL device 10 is provided with: a substrate 11; banks 16 formed on the substrate 11, and delimiting a plurality of formation regions each occupying a part of the application region R on the substrate 11; and a plurality of luminescent function layers 14 respectively emitting light, and formed by applying ink to the plurality of formation regions, and collectively drying it by vacuum drying. The light emitted from each of the plurality of luminescent function layer 14 is emitted from the organic EL device 10. In the organic EL device 10, the volume of the formation region at an end of the application region R is larger than that of the formation region at the central part of the application region R.
