PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential fire sensor which requres a short time for calculating temperature difference between measurement temperature data at a prescribed time before and present measurement temperature data. SOLUTION: The differential fire sensor includes: a storage means where measurement temperature data is stored; a storage control means which stores measurement temperature data into the storage means at every prescribed fixed timing and overwrites the measurement temperature data on the oldest measurement temperature data to store the measurement temperature data; a write pointer shift means which shifts a write pointer indicating a storage area where the latest measurement temperature data is stored, out of a plurality of pieces of measurement temperature data stored in the storage means each time storing measurement temperature data; and a means which shifts the pointer indicating a storage area of measurement temperature data at the prescribed fixed time before, out of the plurality of pieces of measurement temperature data stored in the storage means.
