PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which occurrence of defective cleaning is prevented, replacement is easy and occurrence of toner spillage can also be prevented. SOLUTION: A cleaner unit of the image forming apparatus includes a cleaning member 31 that is brought into contact with a toner bearing body 11 in order to collect a toner from the toner bearing body 11 bearing the toner, a toner removal member 32, 33 to remove the toner from the cleaning member 31, and a waste toner storage section 34 to store the removed toner, with the cleaning member 31, the toner removal member 32, 33 and the waste toner storage section 34 being integrally constructed into a unit structure.
