PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adapter unit connected to a single lens reflex electronic imaging apparatus so as to avoid flare and ghost caused by a mechanism or structure inside a camera box. SOLUTION: The adapter unit has at least a microscope attaching part 11, a diaphragm 12 and an imaging apparatus attaching part 13 in order from an object side. The diaphragm 12 is arranged at a position nearer to the imaging apparatus side by as long as 2/3 or more of a distance from a shoulder position 11a in the microscope attaching part 11 to a shoulder position 13a in the imaging apparatus attaching part 13 as seen from the object side.
