<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sightly door handle mounting structure. <P>SOLUTION: A handle case 12 has a case peripheral edge part 15 surrounding the whole periphery. The case peripheral edge part 15 corresponding to a first taper part 21a divergent toward the cabin outer side of a peripheral edge part of a mounting hole 21 opened to a door lining 6, is composed of a second taper part 12b, an edge part 12d and a third taper part 12c inward from the outside of the handle case 12. The second taper part 12b is formed in a constricted shape toward the cabin inner side and abuts on the first taper part 21a of the mounting hole 21. The third taper part 12c inclines to the outside of the mounting hole 21 toward the cabin side, and an edge part 15d between the second taper part 12b and the third taper part 12c is formed to have round or a flat part on the cabin side.
