PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection type display device achieving higher luminance and miniaturization when using a plurality of lamp parts. SOLUTION: The second focus of the ellipsoidal reflector of the plurality of lamp parts formed of the ellipsoidal reflector and a light source arranged on the first focus of the ellipsoidal reflector is aligned with the focus of a parabolic reflector that is a light composing part.
