PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method of Shochu (distilled sprit) lees which can prevent environmental pollution by spreading over the farmland, a conventional treatment and disposal method of Shochu lees, fodder and ocean disposal, and can reduce excessive environmental burden by plant treatment deeming recycling as everything. SOLUTION: The pH of the Shochu lees of containing 90% or more moisture is neutralized, the neutralized matter is mixed and adsorbed into a porous adsorption body containing at least Shirasu (pumiceous sand) to reduce the moisture content less than 85%, and the mixed and adsorbed Shochu lees are used as the cover material of a controlled final landfill site being a disposal site of waste.
