PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for exterminating flying insect pests, with which flying insect pests are safely and readily exterminated indoors and outdoors by using foams, and foams after a job are simply defoamed without contaminating the circumference. SOLUTION: The apparatus for exterminating flying insect pests is equipped with a foam raw material container 10 for storing a surfactant-containing solution, a foam supply means 20 for spraying foams from a foam nozzle at a fixed height in a state in which the solution in the foam raw material container 10 is foamed, a foam plane retention member 30 for retaining the whole form of a large number of foams sprayed from the foam supply means 20 in a vertical plane state while allowing the foams to naturally flow down and a defoaming means 40 for spraying air on a large number of flowing-down foams Q1 at the lower end part of the foam plane retention member 30, defoaming the foams and returning the foams to a solution state.
