A temperature sensor for a resistance thermometer used for the exhaust gas system of internal combustion engines is provided to be connected to a holder and a connection cable. The electricity measuring resistor is made ceramic materials mixed with either ceramic or mineral carrier, or metal resistance materials. A packing density of filler has a gradient in a length direction of the protective tube. An enclosure(2e,7) is installed on a rear end portion of the protective tube to keep the electric insulation filler in the protective tube. The supply line is drawn from the rear end portion of the protective tube.
