An electric shaver is provided to prevent a base part from being deformed to a compressive direction of the longitudinal center side, and to preclude the stress resulting from the deformation of the connecting part by placing a separation prevention part. An electric shaver comprises an outer edge, and an inner edge(4). The inner edge has an edge body(10), a base part(11), and a separation prevention part. The inner edge reciprocally slides at the inner side of the outer edge. The edge body has a U shaped edge piece. The base part has an attaching part assembled with two longitudinal ends(D2) of the edge body. The separation prevention part precludes the longitudinal center of the base part from being separated from the two longitudinal ends of the edge body. Plate members(19) are arranged at the base part.
