A safety net is provided to transport and assemble easily on a construction site by assembling individually manufactured safety net components, such as a main net frame, a net supporting frame and a net frame, by using assembling units, and to lift the assembled safety net to a higher floor of a building as construction progresses by installing hooks on the main net frame, thereby reducing the installation time. A safety net is composed of a main net frame(10), a net supporting frame(20), columns(30), and a net frame(40). The main net frame has an upper cross beam, and a lower cross beam. The net supporting frame has a net supporting bar, and an auxiliary bar. Brackets(31) are installed on the columns. A net is installed on the net frame. The main net frame, the net supporting frame, the columns, and the net frame, which are individually manufactured, are assembled or disassembled by using assembly units(24,25,33). The main net frame has hooks(16) installed for hooking to a lifting device. At least on one side of the net frame, a foldable auxiliary net frame(42) is installed. Wires(50) of the lifting device are coupled to the hooks on the main net frame, and the fully assembled safety net is simply lifted to a higher elevation by the lifting device as the construction progresses.
