A delineator having self cleaning function and capable of regulating a rotary speed of a brush equipped with a wiper is provided to prevent the brush from rotating excessively by assembling one end of a speed governor having a pair of weight to a second rotary shaft of a wind vane, and the other end to a second gear of a mechanical power transmitting device. A delineator has a body(10). On a front surface of the body, a reflective plate(11) is installed. A first through port(13) is perforated through a center of the body, and a second through port(15) is perforated on an upper part or on a lateral surface of the body. A brush(20) has a first rotary shaft(21) and the first rotary shaft is inserted into the first through port. A blade(23), having a wiper(25) installed on an underside thereof, is assembled to one end of the first rotary shaft. A wind vane(30), having a second rotary shaft(31), is inserted into the second through port. A mechanical power transmitting device(40) is installed within the body. The mechanical power transmitting body has first and second gears(41,43) coupled to first and second rotary shafts respectively. The power transmitting body transmits the rotational force of the wind vane to the brush, allowing wiper to clean the reflective plate depending on the speed of the wind vane. A speed governor(50) has one end assembled to the second rotary shaft, and the other end assembled to the second gear. The speed governor regulates the rotation of first and second gears by centrifugal force of a pair of weight(55) depending on the number of rotations of the wind vane.
