A shielding structure for a transformer is provided to minimize an EMI(ElectroMagnetic Interference) induced at an external power cord, by completely shielding a core using a shielding coating. A transformer includes primary and secondary coils which are wound around a core. An outer surface of an outer case of the core is shielded by using a shielding coating. The conductive shielding coating is connected to a secondary ground terminal. The conductive shielding coating includes a first insulation tape(36a), a copper tape(36b), and a second insulation tape(36c). The first insulation tape is formed on the outer case of the core. The copper tape is formed on the insulation tape. The second insulation tape is formed on the copper tape. The secondary ground terminal is connected to the copper tape.
