An image forming apparatus having a paper removing unit is provided to withdraw a jammed paper to the outside of a fuser, thereby previously preventing that a part of a user's body is contacted with a surface of a heating roller or a pressing roller of the fuser. In an image forming apparatus including a fuser(10) installed in a frame(3), the apparatus comprises a fuser cover(14) and a paper removing unit(20). The fuser cover is rotatably installed in the frame as facing the fuser. The paper removing unit is installed in the fuser cover and picks up a paper jammed within the fuser. The paper removing unit comprises a paper nipper(21) for picking up the jammed paper, and an operating unit(30) for operating the paper nipper so that the front end of the paper nipper can be widened or engaged.
