A composition comprising grain extracts is provided to improve skin-moisturizing and skin elasticity-improving effects and lower skin irritation of a user having dry skin, so that the moisture is kept in the skin without skin irritation and skin aging is efficiently prevented. A composition for moisturizing the skin without skin irritation comprises 0.01-9.5 wt.% of grain extracts containing 15-35 wt.% of black bean, 15-35 wt.% of mung bean, 15-35 wt.% of white bean, 15-35 wt.% of unpolished rice and 20-35 wt.% of wheat. A process for preparing the composition for moisturizing the skin without skin irritation comprises the steps of: mixing black bean, mung bean, white bean, unpolished rice and wheat, washing the mixture and drying it at room temperature for 0.5-1 hour; pulverizing the dried grain mixture to 100 mesh or less; mixing the grain powder with water and heating the mixture at 100 deg.C for 1-3 hours; and centrifuging the heat extract of grains at 2000-3000g, collecting a lower layer, subjecting the lower layer to liquid column chromatography using 1-pentanol, centrifuging the effluent of chromatography, and collecting the lower layer.
