摘要 A system and a method for processing 3D(Dimensional) specular reflection lighting are provided to reduce a system load by calculating a semi-vector between a light source vector and an observer vector in each point of a 3D coordinate system with a simplified operation, and using the calculated semi-vector. A vector sum operator(310) calculates a T-vector by summing a light source vector and an observer vector. A vector normalizer(320) calculates the semi-vector by using the T-vector and a value of a z-axis component of the T-vector. A 3D specular reflecting lighting processor(330) processes the 3D specular reflecting lighting of each point of the 3D coordinate system by using the semi-vector. The vector normalizer includes a section classifier(340) dividing a range having the value of the z-axis component of the T-vector into predetermined sections and selecting a representative value of each section. The vector normalizer calculates the semi-vector by discriminating the section including the value of the z-axis component of the T-vector, and using the T-vector and the representative value of the discriminated section.
