A refrigerator with a subsidiary power source is provided to increase spatial efficiency and satisfy various requests of users by mounting a multimedia apparatus on a mounting groove and connecting with the subsidiary power source. A refrigerator(1) includes an image display part(10), an input terminal, and a subsidiary power source(42). A body in which a freezing compartment(2) and a cooling compartment(4) are partitioned at both sides. Each of a door of the freezing compartment and a door of the cooling compartment is hinged to the body. An ice dispenser(6) for providing ice or cold water and a display part(8) for showing a state of the refrigerator are installed in the door of the freezing compartment. The image display part of a television type for broadcasting or replaying other multimedia, and a selecting part(12) for controlling operation are installed in the door of the cooling compartment. |
