A cushion of a curtain airbag device is provided to extend a protection zone of the cushion by minimizing an inactive zone of the cushion, and improve cushion deployment performance through the modification of the inactive zone. A cushion(50) of a curtain airbag device includes a cushion body(52), an intermediate chamber(54), a left chamber(56) and a right chamber(58), and an inactive zone(60). The cushion body has an upper portion in which a gas supply channel(53) is formed to supply high pressure gas discharged from an inflater upon occurrence of vehicle crash. The intermediate chamber is formed at an intermediate portion of the cushion body and communicated to the gas supply channel such that the intermediate portion of the cushion body is deployed downwardly by the gas supplied through the gas supply channel. The left chamber and the right chamber are formed at a right portion and a left portion of the cushion body and communicated to the intermediate chamber such that the left portion and the right portion of the cushion body are deployed by the gas in the intermediate chamber. The inactive zone is formed in the intermediate chamber so as to divide the gas flowing from the gas supply channel into left and right sections and supply the gas into the left chamber and the right chamber.
