An oil level maintaining apparatus is provided to suppress inflow of air or leakage of oil caused by an abnormal oil level of an automatic transmission. An oil level measurement unit(200) is positioned at a lower end of an automatic transmission(100) in order to measure oil level(210). An oil level maintaining unit(300) includes a cylinder(310) having a protruded pipe for receiving and discharging the oil from or to the inside of the automatic transmission, and a piston(320) to be inserted into the cylinder. An operating unit(400) is coupled with a bar part protruded from the piston to the outside of the cylinder. A control unit(500) controls the operating unit according to the oil level of the oil measured by the oil level measurement unit.
