A bag umbrella is provided to enable a user to carry an umbrella always without carrying the umbrella in his/her hands by mounting an umbrella on a bag that is carried on a user's shoulder. In a bag umbrella, an umbrella mounted on a bag has the concept of a cover, and is unfolded by one operation. The umbrella is to be folded promptly and correctly to make the bag umbrella useful. When the umbrella is unfolded, the width of the umbrella is to be widened according to the inclination degree by making inclination at the ends of shafts at both sides. Four umbrella ribs in the shape of U are attached to the outer side of the bag. When a handle of a shoulder strap of the bag is pulled, the umbrella is unfolded. The umbrella is folded by the force of a return spring.
