A cushion of an airbag device is provided to improve performance of the airbag device in case of out-of-position of a seat occupant, by suppressing front deployment of the cushion and permitting side deployment of the cushion during initial deployment of the cushion. A cushion(50) includes a cushion body(52), a first tether(54), and a second tether(56). The cushion body is deployed in a forward direction by high pressure gas upon occurrence of vehicle crash, and has a rear surface on which a gas inlet portion(53) having an inlet hole(53A) is formed. The first tether is arranged in the cushion body, and has both ends connected to an upper portion of the gas inlet portion and a front upper portion of the cushion body. The second tether has an intermediate portion connected to the first tether, and both ends connected to a lower portion of the gas inlet portion and a front lower portion of the cushion body.
