There is provided a pressure-maintenance device 101 for maintaining air pressure within inflatable building components 201, 202, 203. The building components 201, 202, 203 are made form a transparent or translucent film or foil that allows ambient light to pass therethrough. The building components 201, 202, 203 include moisture sensitive solar devices 304, 404 for generating electricity. The apparatus comprises a device inlet 103 for receiving air and a device outlet 112 for supplying air under pressure to a component inlet 505, 507 and a moisture removal system configured to remove moisture from pressure-maintenance air as the air passes through the apparatus from the device inlet 103 to the device outlet 112. Water vapour removal may be through desiccant, a refrigeration device may additionally condense the water vapour. Also claimed is a plurality of building components with an electrical interface for receiving electricity generated by photovoltaic material. |
