Accumulator and its cover

An accumulator, especially of lead, comprises cells in a housing with a cover (1) comprising separated filling openings (8) closable by stoppers (10) with plug connections of which at least two are joined by a flexible interconnection (11). This is formed so that the distance between the stoppers and filling openings is variably adjustable by turning one of the stoppers. Independent claims are also included for: (a) a further accumulator as above;and (b) a cover for the above.
