The determined correcting variable is output to one adjusting device e.g. adjusting valves and guide vane assembly, influencing air- and/or fuel supply to a combustion chamber (12), such that an approximation of the flame generated in the chamber to the stability limit is derived from the control variable. #CMT# : #/CMT# The correcting variable is determined by a regulator (29) based on a received measurement variable and its deviation from a reference variable.
