<p>Disclosed is a method for collecting and transporting documents and data carriers so as to securely dispose thereof. The documents or data carriers to be disposed of are collected in secured collecting containers (100) at a company's (A) premises. The documents or data carriers contained in the secured collecting containers (100) are emptied into transport containers (12) on trucks, train cars, or other transport vehicles, a process that is carried out under uninterrupted surveillance and is fully documented. The transport container (12) is transferred to the disposal company (E), where said transport container (12) is emptied once again under surveillance, and the contents are fed straight to a shredder or incinerator.</p> |
