The device (1) has a power transmission body (2) partially protruding from a housing (3) at a chamber-sided opening (5) of the housing. A pressure sensor (15) is arranged in an inner space (4) of the housing and directly stays in effective connection with the power transmission body. A flexible ductile sealing unit (28) is arranged within the housing. The sealing unit seals the inner space of the housing in relation to the chamber-lateral opening of the housing. A flaming shield (29) is provided between the chamber-sided opening and the sealing unit.
