A composition for diagnosing neurodegenerative diseases is provided to diagnose diseases related to memory loss including Alzheimer's disease by applying clinical proteomics to cerebrospinal fluid focusing on quantitative change of a protein biomolecule relating to the progress of the disease. A composition for diagnosing neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease comprises at least one protein selected from the group consisting of a fibrinogen gamma-A chain precursor including an amino acid sequence described in SEQ ID : NO. 1, a retinol binding protein including an amino acid sequence described in SEQ ID : NO. 2, and a haptoglobin precursor allyl 1 including an amino acid sequence described in SEQ ID : NO. 3. A method for diagnosing neurodegenerative diseases comprises the steps of: (a) measuring a level of a fibrinogen gamma-A chain precursor from a test sample obtained from a patient; and (b) comparing a level of a fibrinogen gamma-A chain precursor obtained from a normal sample with the level obtained from the step(a) and diagnosing the neurodegenerative diseases when the level of the test sample is high.
