<p>The system has free field positioning systems for absolute determination of position of a tool (10) e.g. hand-guided power screw driver, by tracing movement of the tool relative to a known reference position. The systems are coupled with each other for positioning the tool. A set of base stations (12, 14, 16) is coupled with the tool over direct signal paths for free field positioning. An independent claim is also included for a method for positioning a tool.</p> |
