ORGANIC LIGHT EMITTING DISPLAY AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

An organic light emitting diode display device and a driving method thereof are provided to maintain a temperature of a display panel constant by varying a gamma reference voltage according to temperature variation. A display panel has pixels(110) connected to gate line(GL) and data lines(DL). A gate driving circuit drives the gate lines, and a data driving circuit(180) drives the data lines. At least one temperature sensor(120) is disposed on the display panel to sense the temperature of the display panel, and a sensor driving unit(130) converts a temperature signal supplied from the temperature sensor into a digital temperature signal. A timing controller(140) supplies the gate driving circuit with a control signal, supplies the data driving circuit with a control signal and a data signal, and generates a gamma reference voltage control signal according to the digital temperature signal supplied from the sensor driving unit. A digital to analog converter(150) generates a gamma reference voltage varied according to the gamma reference voltage control signal and supplies the data driving circuit with the gamma reference voltage.
