A system and a method for managing information in a vehicle are provided to apply the information stored in a storage device to vehicle operation promptly and offer convenience to a driver by storing the information received from a personal information terminal to the storage device, and transfer vehicle setting information and personal information safely by authenticating access authority of the personal or vehicle information terminal. A personal information terminal(100) transmits at least one of the vehicle setting information applied to the vehicle operation and the personal information of a user to the outside in a wireless mode. A storage device(200) stores the information received from the personal information terminal. A vehicle terminal receives the vehicle setting information from the storage device and applies the received information to the vehicle operation. A vehicle information terminal(300) displays geographic information corresponding to coordinates of a destination when the personal information is the coordinates of the destination while displaying the received personal information to a screen. |
