A method for displaying virtual account information by using an emergency PIN(Personal ID Number), and a mobile terminal for the same are provided to transmit the predetermined virtual account information by setting an ordinary and emergency PIN to a smart card when the emergency PIN is inputted to a smart card authentication system. A key input part(206) receives the PIN for requesting a financial service, and providing financial service or virtual account information from a user of the mobile terminal. A program memory(202) stores a program for checking the inputted PIN, receiving the financial service, and generating/providing the virtual account information. A display unit(208) displays a PIN authentication screen, an account information screen, and a virtual account information screen for receiving the financial service as well as an operation state of the mobile terminal. A microprocessor(214) generates/provides the virtual account information or provides an ordinary financial service by comparing the inputted PIN with the PIN set in the smart card(110). |
